This piece stood out to me in the collection. It is a photocopied, hand bound triptych of a single piece of music. Each page is carefully taped over as if laminated. This must have been a favorite of Mr. Madden since it was so carefully and lovingly handcrafted.

This piece is unfamiliar to me. As is Wieniawski. Apparently he was considered to be Paganini reincarnated. This warrants more research into his background and history. And I really need to figure out what this “the devil’s staccato” is all about.

Alas, that is a task for tomorrow. For now, let’s just enjoy the music.
